Austin Eco Fair and Permaculture Courses
This spring is looking green! Over the next two months, we look forward to the Eco Fair and the beginning of Austin Permaculture Guild’s weekend courses.
Euphoria is proud to help announce HOPE’s Eco Fair 2018. This year marks the fourth annual fair, hosted by HOPE Farmer's Market and the Austin Permaculture Guild. The event brings together like-minded organizations and individuals, spotlighting the many ways we can all get involved with environmental initiatives in Austin.
Anyone interested in the Austin eco-friendly community can join us Sunday, March 25 at Plaza Saltillo for a day of information, inspiration, and family fun. From 11:00-3:00 p.m. enjoy local music, from Steel Betty and world renowned Atash, and get plugged into the Austin eco-community.
Soon after the Eco Fair excitement, April brings the Permaculture Design Course. The 6 weekends course is kicked off Mid-April, and is spanning topics including permaculture design, animal systems, plant propagation, composting and more.
We all want to protect and restore the environment, but we don't always know how to help. This series of courses is meant to educate on a deeper, meaningful level. Instructor Kirby Fry is an expert in the field, having taught and built sustainable design systems for over 25 years.
Permaculture stands for permanent agriculture - It's the practice of living a sustainable life, symbiotic with the earth. Discover how to transform yourself into a self-sufficient, food producing, energy cycling being.
The course begins April 14th and concludes June 17th. The full schedule with individual course descriptions can be found here.
We look forward to seeing our eco family at all the events this spring!
